Which Coffee Should I Choose?

A Beginner’s Guide to Moneyrow Beans…

If you’re new to speciality coffee, choosing the right one can feel a bit overwhelming. With so many options, where do you start? At Moneyrow Beans, we like to keep things simple and accessible — and we want to help you find a coffee you’ll genuinely love.

Here’s a quick guide to some of our most popular coffees, depending on your taste.

Love a Classic Espresso? Start with East End Blend

If you’re looking for a tasty all-rounder — our East End Blend is the place to begin.

It’s a well-balanced medium roast and is our most popular blend for home baristas with an espresso or bean-to-cup machine. It’s easy to enjoy, whether you drink it black or with milk. Expect comforting flavours of roasted nuts and caramel that work beautifully as your everyday coffee.

Perfect for: Espresso lovers, flat whites, cappuccinos, and anyone new to speciality coffee.

Prefer Something Darker & Bolder? Try Deep House Blend.

If you like your coffee strong, rich, and full-bodied, our Deep House Blend is a great choice.

This is our most popular darker roast, with deeper, more intense flavours that feel bold and satisfying in every cup — this blend will give you a classic “strong coffee” taste with a sweet dark chocolate flavour – all the coffee-ness without the bitterness.

Perfect for: Those who want a powerful morning coffee or a roast that cuts through milk.

Want Something Lighter, Brighter & Milder? Try Fresh Start Blend

Feeling a little more adventurous? Fresh Start Blend is our go-to for a lighter, more fruity cup.

With brighter, fruit-led notes and a refreshing profile, it’s a great choice if you’re ready to explore something a little different while still keeping things approachable.

Perfect for: Filter, pour-over, or anyone looking for a lighter, more expressive coffee.

Curious About Single Origins?

If you’re ready to explore where coffee really comes to life, our single origins are a great next step. These coffees showcase the unique flavours and stories of a specific region, farm, or process.

  • Highland Nymph (Mexico)
A medium-dark roast, satisfying coffee with a rich, rounded character. It has natural flavours of cocoa, nutmeg and tiramisu. If you enjoy depth and structure in your cup, this is a fantastic choice. This coffee also raises awareness about a very special endangered moth which Butterfly Conservation Scotland is working hard to protect – The Highland Nymph, AKA The Alpine Coffee Moth!
  • Plum Judy (India)
A lighter roast with notes of plum pudding, butter shortbread and delicate florals. This coffee comes from the Hospura Estate which is situated in the Bab Budan Giri coffee growing area of India. Plum Judy is the name of one of the 68 species of butterfly being counted as an indicator of the progress of their sustainability and biodiversity goals. The farm itself is 12 hectares, and is known for its biodiversity and traditional cultivation methods.
